September 9, 2015 -Maryville, Missouri: Lettuce Dream is a non-profit organization in Maryville, Missouri dedicated to helping those with a cognitive and developmental disability achieve their dreams of satisfying work, greater community connection and steps toward independence. The group aims to build hydroponic greenhouses where individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities can come to learn valuable job skills and enjoy social interaction with others. Lettuce Dream hosted evening where Northwest Missouri came together to raise money for a cause that will change the lives of individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities and bring communities together, all while providing fresh produce to our areas.
