Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program

September 9, 2015 -Maryville, Missouri: Lettuce Dream is a non-profit organization in Maryville, Missouri dedicated to helping those with a cognitive and developmental disability achieve their dreams of satisfying work, greater community connection and steps toward independence. The group aims to build hydroponic greenhouses where individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities can come to learn valuable job skills and enjoy social interaction with others. The Missouri Department of Economic Development gave its approval of this endeavor in the form of NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) tax credits. Lettuce Dream Awarded Grant for Building Project

Lettuce Dream board members were presented a grant from the MFA Incorporated Charitable Foundation on July 1, 2015. Lettuce Dream was presented with the $1,500.00 grant that will aid the organization’s first phase of its building project that will have a large impact on Northwest Missouri communities. Land Donated For Lettuce Dream Project

Lettuce Dream, Inc. Announces Land Donation to Provide Employment for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities Maryville, Missouri (February 6, 2015) – Community residents have donated more than three acres of land to Lettuce Dream, Inc. to start the construction for two hydroponic greenhouses that will  provide fresh, locally grown produce for the region and jobs for individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities. Build a Dream Celebrity Waiter Dinner

Lettuce Dream hosted evening where Northwest Missouri came together to raise money for a cause that will change the lives of individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities and bring communities together, all while providing fresh produce to our areas.
